As the head entrepeneur of Go Ventures, an event promotions company and independent record label, Reza has been a major force and contributor to the Los Angeles underground dance scene since the early 1990's. Masterminding some of Southern California massive events, such as the Love Festival series ('92 through '99), Circa '97, In Seventh Heaven '97, Hallucinate '97, Encore New Year's Eve '98, Monster Massive ('98 and around 9000 people at '99), Together As One New Year's Eve '99, California Collective '99, he has established a high level of respect and credibility for Go Ventures.
Unbeknown to most, Reza wanted to be more than just another Los Angeles promoter behind the scenes, so in 1995, Reza started to spin house music. Within six months and with a lof of encouragement, Reza landed a residency at one of Los Angeles' most popular night clubs, T.I.M.E. Reza's DJ skills and growing fan base spread throughout the west coast like wildfire. His unique musical style of intertwining global house beats spliced with layered tribal techno made the dance floors all over the nation banging with frenzied clubbers.
Reza's DJ reputation multiplied by a charismatic showmanship behind the decks has allowed him to entertain thousands of partygoers at Narnia '97, with an attendance of 10,000, Nocturnal Wonderland '98with an attendance of 14,000, and Cyberfest '99 in SF & Smoke Out '99 with over 20,000 in attendance at each event! Sharing the decks with world famous DJ talents such as Juan Atkins, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Frankie Bones, Doc Martin, Donald Glaude, Green Velvet, Charles Feelgood and so on has only spurred Reza's entusiasm to elevate the crowds to higher states of consciousness.
To Date: Reza/Go Ventures will be producing a series of cutting edge dance CDs featuring world premier artists, to be released on Go Ventures Recordings in the near future. Also in the works is Reza's live performance group, LA Turntable Orchestra, which will be releasing their first CD on Go Ventures Recordings and many other live musical perfected tracks for the years to come.
